Kairos-Estes is the name for the group of local Kairos Prison Ministry Intenational (KPMI) volunteers working inside and outside the prison walls of the Sanders Estes Unit, which is located in Venus, Texas. Our dedicated volunteers and generous contributions come from all over north Texas area and beyond.
KAIROS MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Kairos Prison Ministry is to share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women and youth, as well as their families, to become loving and productive citizens of their communities. The vision of Kairos Prison Ministry International, Inc. (KPMI) is to be a community spiritually freed from the effects of imprisonment reaching all impacted by incarceration, through the love, hope, and faith found in Jesus Christ.
KAIROS ESTES - VENUS, TEXAS
The Estes Kairos community began Christian prison ministry activity inside the Estes Unit in 2010 and has conducted numerous successful Kairos Weekends, hundreds of Prayer & Share gatherings, and touched the lives of many Estes inmates and officers many of whom have never officially taken part in actual Kairos ministry functions. This is the scope and meaning of this ministry and its labor of love inside the walls of the Sanders Estes Unit.
